Ten Space Capsule Houses Create a Family Vacation Paradise

This project is located on a private estate in Nuevo León, Mexico. The client wanted a year-round vacation accommodation for family, relatives, and friends, requiring both a high-quality living experience and harmony with the overall estate environment.

Ultimately, the client chose UVO Space Capsule Houses, arranging 10 independent capsules within the estate to form a highly private, scenic small vacation community.

The estate is spacious, with the main house, swimming pool, and other living areas concentrated in the lower middle section, while the accommodation capsules are separately located on the upper right side of the estate, arranged in a semi-circular pattern.

This layout has three significant advantages:

1. Independent Area Planning, Enhancing Privacy

The ten space capsules are not located near the main house, but rather form an independent small residential cluster, giving guests their own space without disturbing the main house.

2. Semi-circular layout ensures every unit enjoys a scenic view

The diagram shows ten capsules arranged in a fan-shaped outward pattern, allowing each to face the central open space or natural landscape, avoiding obstructed views.

3. The central common area offers expanded functionality

The large circular open space in the center of the arc can be used for family barbecues, dinners, and parties, enhancing the family gathering atmosphere.

This "cluster layout + private detached" strategy is ideal for a resort/manor model and provides ample space for UVO's capsule features.

The 10 Space Capsule Houses selected by the client are all equipped with one bedroom, one bathroom, a kitchenette, and a complete HVAC system, allowing for independent occupancy without relying on the main house's amenities.

Each cabin is equipped with:

• A separate bedroom
• A fully enclosed bathroom with a shower
• A small kitchen for everyday cooking
• A complete HVAC system (ventilation/heating/air conditioning)
• Floor-to-ceiling windows for maximum natural light and stunning views

Purpose:

• Accommodation during family gatherings

During project communication, the client primarily had the following concerns:

1. Can the capsule house adapt to the local climate?

Nudeaux, León, experiences hot summers and large temperature differences between day and night. The client was concerned about the capsule house's insulation, heat preservation, and ventilation.

2. Will it harmonize with the existing architectural style of the estate?

The main buildings of the estate are predominantly red-tiled and traditional in style, while the capsule house has a modern exterior. The client was concerned about potential clashes.

3. Is it easy to install and maintain?

The client wanted rapid construction without disrupting the estate's use, while also requiring convenient and reliable future maintenance.
