Temporary Dormitory and Activity Space Project in Uzbekistan

In construction and infrastructure projects in Central Asia, tight construction schedules and high personnel mobility necessitate extremely high demands for the speed and cost control of temporary dormitories and living facilities. This project, located at a construction site in Uzbekistan, required a modular building solution that could be quickly installed, easily transported, and equipped with basic living functions.

16 Folding Container Houses Combined Camp
This project deployed 16 folding container houses, modularly combined to form a complete living area on the construction site, mainly including:
- Worker dormitory area
- Common activity area
- Rest and communication space
The folding container houses are transported in a folded state, significantly reducing their transport volume. Upon arrival at the construction site, they only need to be easily unfolded and secured for immediate use, greatly shortening on-site construction time. The overall installation cycle for a single unit can be completed in just a few hours.
From an external structural perspective, the houses adopt a standard modular design, equipped with protective window bars and an air conditioning system, enabling them to adapt to the relatively complex local construction environment.

Interior Space: Meeting Daily Life and Public Activities
As seen in the site photos, the project's interior space is rationally planned according to function:
Dormitory Area: Each modular housing unit is equipped with doors, windows, lighting, and ventilation, providing a safe and comfortable resting environment for construction workers. The long corridor layout facilitates personnel access and daily management.Public Activity Space: The project also features a large open activity area, which can serve as:
- Worker Dining Area
- Meeting Area
- Rest and Communication Space
This spatial layout not only enhances the functionality of the camp but also improves the daily life experience of the workers.

Client Needs and Project Matching
When choosing modular building solutions, clients primarily focus on the following core factors:
- Rapid Deployment: Tight construction schedules require houses to be installed and put into use within a short timeframe.
- Controllable Transportation Costs: folding structures significantly reduce transport volume, improve container loading efficiency, and lower international shipping costs.
- Stability and Durability: Complex construction environments necessitate houses with excellent structural strength and durability.
- Customized Services: Clients desire layout and configuration adjustments tailored to their project requirements.
